Lā 32: TMT money will NOT benefit students outside of STEM!
Lā 32: ʻAʻole mākou aʻe minamina i ka puʻu kālā a ke aupuni. Ua lawa mākou i ka pōhaku i ka ʻai kamahaʻo o ka ʻāina. $250,000 (Pauahi Foundation) and $750,00 (Hawaii Community Foundation) for Hawaii Island Native Hawaiian STEM students, which is only 40 this year. TMT has to stop bribing our educational system with their filthy money and selfish wants. This money will NOT benefit anyone outside of STEM, both Hawaiian and non-Hawaiian. How is this going to benefit the community as a whole, because we all live here and we're all going to be affected by this. THEREʻS NO "I" IN "ʻĀINA" Lā K. Ea. So tell me TMT, UH, OHA, Pauahi Foundation, HCF, how will your great grandkids benefit from the decisions you are making for our future?
