Lā 242: I'm always uneasy about recording while in pule or ceremony but it has gotten to a point where we are put in situations to do so. Here is an example on the summit last week Tuesday. It's always been like this since March but I actually recorded this time. Two security guys were just feet away from us while we were in pule, their truck parked behind us just recording and harassing us. As disturbing as this is, this is the truth we face on a daily basis when perpetuating our culture. The only thing we know how to be, kanaka @kahookahi #MaunaKea #AhuoWākea #meleapākuʻi #oppressionisreal #TMTshutdown #alohaʻāina at Mauna a Wakea.
