Lā 225 - Beautiful testimony read by Ronald Fujiyoshi. Speaking of the sacredness of Mauna Kea, and the religious rights of Native Hawaiians that should be protected by the court of law, and justice system. Found GUILTY of obstruction by Judge Takase. Prosecutor suggests 6 month probation, prohibiting him from Mauna Kea Access road, and a fine of $500. Kiaʻi requests 6 month probation, and 4 days jail time instead of the fine. Judge agrees - yet will still prohibit him from the Mauna Kea Access road, which is a public road. Uncle Ronald is a Kahu who was protecting his church - and this is religious persecution at its finest. No nā Kupuna. We will overcome.
