Quick Mauna update: On their way back down from the summit, we meet with the same tour company we saw this morning at 3:30am in the "restricted area" that DLNRs recent "emergency rules" apply to. Over the past few weeks we have documented hundreds of visitors who come during the restricted hours of 10pm-4am. The only time DLNR has enforced these rule changes has been twice now to prey on and raid kānaka maoli practicing our culture and religion on the national lands of our sacred temple. Blatant selective prosecution that clearly shows the kind of settler racism the de facto State of Hawaii operates under.
